Traveler Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 I had a sticking trunk lock, bought new one, replaced it, gasket and retainer and the lock failed again. The original lock tailshaft has an offset(upper assembly in picture), the new one is straight, anyone know which one is correct? I also bought a new latch but the old one seems fine with the cylinder removed and I use a screwdriver to actuate it, latch alignment is correct to striker. john Quote
Dtret Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 Take the short shaft and put it on the new lock Quote
