  1. Borgeson makes what you need for a steering shaft set up. I believe the Cherokee shaft squarebody guys use is the wrong spline or shaft size on the column and box.
  2. I have 18 x 9.5 with 5.75" BS and 275 width tires that fit perfect with no modifications front and rear.
  3. For mine I have aftermarket a-arms and sway bar but nothing that allows extra clearance. I was going to go staggered but when I used the wheel fitting jig set for the specs I came up for the rear to get what I wanted I set it up on the front out of curiosity. I found I had enough clearance to where I might get very slight rubbing if any on the sway bar during hard cornering so it's pretty much maxed out unless I get to cutting and welding to make more clearance. On the rear it looks like if I want to in the future I can step up to a 10" wide with 6.25bs and a 295.
  4. I got 275/40r18 to fit the front on 9.5 wheels wit 5.75bs
  5. I've been following a couple of his builds on another forum. He's doing a GTO and a LS powered 1st gen Cougar.
  6. These were the ones that turned out good. I'd get one to turn out really nice but find a glaring mistake so I would have it corrected and the quality would go in the toilet. Then it would take a few tries to get the quality back but I'd end up with a different design altogether. I've had the group going for a couple years now but I'm about the only one that posts anything which is mostly posting upcoming cars shows, swap meets and progress on my car.
  7. Well nothing done to the Monte but did some logo designs for my Facebook group.
  8. Spent some time over the weekend getting a few things done before the engine and trans go in.
  9. I have that set up minus the Baer MC. Everything fit nicely but I haven't finished installing everything to give any feedback on performance.
  10. You guys might want to look into rivnuts for future projects. They work really well for adding threads into sheet metal parts.
  11. Installed the rear sway bar, proportioning valve, removed the a/c evaporator to rebuild the a/c system and did some cleaning. Time to order a few parts and consumables. I'm hoping to have the engine and trans in about 2 weeks but also have to drop some trees and grind stumps in that time frame as well. I'm hoping to have it ready to go for Goodguys at the end of July in Puyallup Wa. If not definitely Goodguys Pleasanton Ca in November.
  12. I did pump them to full height and you are able to disconnect the hoses in the up position. They do lose a small bit of fluid in the process though.
  13. They lock into place at the fully up position so there is really only two positions, up and down. For doing work from a creeper they are at the right height, at least they are for the Camaro. I did an oil change and a couple of other tasks under it with enough room for me to comfortably work. Dealing with the undercar layout, that's a different story. For the wife's Equinox they are a bit tall for oil changes seeing that it's high enough to comfortably change the oil and filter on the ground due to the forward drain plug and filter location. For doing our Montes or any older car with higher clearances they will work fine. I just can't use them on my Silverado 2500 or K5 Blazer due to weight. The hoses I don't know if they can be remove during use or not. I got these for now to be able to get the Camaro off the ground for oil changes until I can get a two post lift installed. There's not a lot of points to jack those cars up safely.
  14. I was just disappointed that they weren't low enough to go under the Camaro without extensions.
  15. I bought a set of these so I could get my Camaro SS off the ground. I still had to make extensions to fit under it.
