My dad says to do it myself cause all the auto upholstery places are rip offs. He's kind of a cheapskate.

Just curious as to why everyone loves these old cars?

I'm not a mechanic at all nor familiar with working on auto upholstery but my new ride needs a headliner and any advice in this matter would be appreciated.

Rob I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to bring her. She needs some work like a new suspension and probably some brakes

Thanks. It's my first time owning a first gen this week. I've been a non dues member for some time but now is the time to get serious.

This is my first time owning a 1970 monte carlo or any older vehicle of that time period. My dad had a 1970 also with a 400 small block engine. Mine has the 402 or sometimes called the 400 big block. I'm excited to start with a running project car to hopefully one day being in show car quality
