  1. I gave up sodas and almost gave up beer. No fast food either so I'll see if any of that helps.
  2. My fat self definitely does not.
  3. I'm definitely don't have the ability. I'd end up making things worse.
  4. I'd rather spend the money for it to be done right.
  5. My dad says to do it myself cause all the auto upholstery places are rip offs. He's kind of a cheapskate.
  6. Yes that is where I got her. There is a video on YouTube. She needs some TLC.
  7. Just curious as to why everyone loves these old cars?
  8. I'm not a mechanic at all nor familiar with working on auto upholstery but my new ride needs a headliner and any advice in this matter would be appreciated.
  9. Thank you. It feels good to own a gentleman's muscle car. I've always called them a redneck cadillac.
  10. Rob I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to bring her. She needs some work like a new suspension and probably some brakes
  11. I just hope I can driver her without blowing the engine up. Lol
  12. Ron. Thank you very much.
  13. Thank you
  14. Thanks. It's my first time owning a first gen this week. I've been a non dues member for some time but now is the time to get serious.
  15. Thanks everyone. Here is a picture of the car and the engine bay. Would love to bring her to the car show but I'm a bit scared to take her on a long road trip right now. IMG_20250410_193320.heic
  16. This is my first time owning a 1970 monte carlo or any older vehicle of that time period. My dad had a 1970 also with a 400 small block engine. Mine has the 402 or sometimes called the 400 big block. I'm excited to start with a running project car to hopefully one day being in show car quality
