Sorry so long, I recently replaced my 12 bolt rear due to failure, purchased a 9” rear direct replacement from Currie. Had to convert from drum to disk as old drum wouldn’t fit axle tubes. Question is when converting from drum to disk, do you need to add or replace existing proportioning valve for different pressures? Any additional info from people using a 9” rear is also welcome. Has anyone in this group ever changed the mount for the radiator support from a 70 to a 72 front fender? I got a set of both I'm thinking of drilling spot welds and swapping. Little nervous about ruining a very good set of 72 fender. Would like to know if anyone has done it.
