  1. There. I'm a better mechanic than I am a techy.
  2. Aaron in Idaho on the road to Logan. A little bit of sun reflection, but 25 miles into Idaho on the way home had all 3's across the odometer. E7890E3C-0EAD-4FC1-87EF-81F53560777B.heic C0713777-6496-429A-B155-3219919469F0.heic
  3. I'm glad you were so close. I wouldn't have had anyone to give me a replacement center cap for my wheel, and spent the whole weekend at the show looking like I belonged on the circle track!
  4. Just before losing one of my center caps. Big thanks to Ryan for bringing me another one.
  5. I will be using this map for the trip to Utah. Glad to see they've cut and paved a road straight through the Cascades and Steans Mountain ranges. Man, the stuff this club does for us! Outstanding!
  6. I wish it was that straight and direct of a drive!
  7. Roomed, registered, ready for the road.
  8. Booked my room.
  9. Glad to hear that it wasn't damaging. Living in Kansas as a kid I've seen baseball sized hail smash windshields and make hoods, roofs, and trunks look like they've been hit hundreds of times with a ball peen hammer. Wish I could've made it. Will try for next year.
  10. Titanium hips with cobalt and chromium wear surfaces, Kevlar patches over the hernias, stainless screw holding the foot together, and 6 gold molars...Guess I'm worth a couple bucks in scrap.
  11. I could use a pair of shoulders too, but will deal with this for now. I can deal with the minor pains, but this was a 10/10. All ready have a pair of new hip joints. Lower ball joints are replaced, uppers still to be done!
  12. Thx, Good to know I'm not done. Will hit 60 this year. Still want to do stuff.
  13. Thx for the encouragment Brother. When it rains it pours...2 days later the radiator core started leaking on my 1962 Olds Starfire. Was going to take that to a show in Coos Bay on the coast the following weekend after getting back from Canada. Am trying to sell it. And in the middle of replacing front and rear suspension on my 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7. Fix them when I can now. Past working life haunts are interfering with retirement fun! LOL!
  14. Hey Everyone, Because of medical issues I've had to back out of the western meet this year. Been dealing with a torn rotator cuff the past 5 years and Saturday morning it finally "snapped". I can't even open the hood to check my oil. At least a one armed man isn't in pain. I get in to the surgeon Monday Sept. 16. I've called Aaron (double A Ron), and cancelled my reservation at the motel. It was for a single queen bed room. I'm really bummed about this, I had such a great time last year and was excited about this year. I was going to stop in Yakima and visit the original owners of my Monte that I bought it from. I was also looking forward to the 4-wheel steering project that Jason talked of when we had lunch down at Bear Lake. He said; "How hard could it be?" Take care everybody, Dave
  15. I plan to stop in Yakima, WA on the way up. I bought my Monte from the original owners there and they really want to see it again.
