Your car looks great in front of the black and white mural! (and everywhere else too)

To all of our club members who are ex-military and/or first responders – thank you for your service! I completed a 20-year career in the Air Force from 1983-2003. I had basic training and tech school in Texas. From there I was stationed at Little Rock AFB in Arkansas, where I worked on the Titan 2 nuclear missile system in underground silos. After that, I went to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida and was involved in launching military satellites from Titan rockets and some Space Shuttle missions. I finished my career at Malmstrom AFB in Montana. There I worked on the Minuteman nuclear missile system, and then managed maintenance and training teams as I progressed in rank. It’s kind of ironic that I served 20 years in the Air Force, but was never involved with aircraft. Like everything in life, there were good times and bad times, and my family and I had to make some sacrifices. I’m glad that I did it. I now have a son serving in the Air Force at Beale AFB in California. I’m sure that things have changed since I was in, but I still believe military service is a good option for young people to gain skills and experience that will help them for life - all while serving our great nation.

Our local cruise night in Springfield, MO. Kearney Street on the second Saturday evening of each month. In the 2nd picture, the photographer caught me and the bonus red first gen Monte parked in the background. I saw 2 other first gens cruising that evening, for a total of 4 of us. Fun night with lots of sweet rides!

I think the logo would look best on the black hat. I would definitely buy one.

I don't care for the hat with flames. I prefer solid color hats with no mesh - I think it's a classic/classier look. Maybe offer choice of black or white.

I like having the year on the plate. I think a lot of people do, because several of my first choices were already taken here in Missouri when I applied.

I suggest Springfield, Missouri. We always have a huge turnout for the Mid-America street rod nationals every Memorial Day weekend (usually beautiful weather). Also, the Birthplace of Route 66 festival every August (usually hot weather). There's quite a bit to do here, and Branson is a short drive for music and variety shows. Like Mon-tss said, we're pretty much smack-dab in the middle of the US.

I was 17 years old when I bought a 70 Monte Carlo in 1980. It was originally white with a black vinyl top and black interior. I worked and saved for the car, and then a paint job and custom wheels. The memories of that first car stayed with me, and now I’ve had my current 70 Monte for 2 years.
