That’s what I have for overflow. Tucked in the fender alongside the battery. Mine leaks a few drops evertime I drive it….tried new cap, new gasket…I’ll figure it out eventually but I’m busy putting miles on it during our short season.

Air Conditioning Restoration Part II
Joselk1 replied to Rob Peters's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
I just replaced my condenser last week. No one had them in stock. I tried to find A parallel flow condenser, and I couldn’t even find a part number for that. The only place that had the condenser was National Parts depot for Chevelle so that’s what I used. Air is working again. -
Thank you Admins…done.

Window Switches pulling out of door panel-bad backing board

Did you glue down the sheet metal or did it work without fastening to the cardboard. I’m about to do this same repair today. -
Where did you get your door panels?

My 28” tires fit because my 8” Rally wheels have 5” backspace.

No reply’s …guessing scam.

One more thing that helped my ride height is all new body mount bushing.

Thanks… Rear springs are Moog 5379 and fronts are 6330. Both stock replacement springs for a big bloc. If I were doing it over I’d use the heavier El Camino rear springs for just a bit more height in the rear. My rear tires are 275/60/15 so they are 28”. tall and they don’t rub at all. I’m running Bilstein front shocks and adjustable Viking in the rear.

Wanted : 1970 Rear Defogger Wanted

I really need a very nice dash bezel. I have a really nice one , maybe NOS, but it has the cutouts for the rear window defogger. Maybe it’s easier to find a nice bezel without the cutout. -
Anyone have a rear defogger for a 70….are other years the same? Thanks

I restored my suspension this past spring. Stock springs, Moog 6330 and 5379. The rear was a little low for 275/60/15 so I ended up putting 1/2” spacer in the rear.

This with 275/60/15 so tall tire.

IMG_1077.heicIMG_4135.heicI have this radio from antique radio. It looks great and sounds ok. I’m going to add an amp this winter and see if it improves. I have kicker 4x6 dash speakers and I’m not crazy about them. The rears are 6x9 alpines and they sound decent.

I’m sure there is only 1 manufacturer of plastic inner fenders, doesn’t matter which vendor you get them from. That being said I just replaced mine with steel that I picked up from Leo. Then had them powder coated.

I found another build sheet when I removed the original carpet. It was under drivers side sound deadening material. You can’t tell from this picture but many parts of it are readable. I now know this car was special ordered and delivers to Capital Chevrolet, Nashville Tn. I’ll be taking the seat covers off in the next week or so…hoping for another build sheet that’s better.

Mine leaks too…just installed …did you resolve it?

You sure that isn’t the right one.
