Hi all,
I was going to tag onto a prior thread but I didn't see anything specifically addressing this issue. I recently upgraded my front suspension (1970 MC) with QA1 upper and lower control arms and coil overs. Couldn't be happier with the stance and performance, but... after a little bit of driving the front suspension starts making a ton of racket - squeaking - mostly from the shock bushings on the right side but its not all localized to that area. I've greased all the control arm bushings and messed with the coil over alignment but whatever I do doesn't seem to help. I can lube the left upper shock bushings with silicone or WD-40 and it helps for a limited period of time, but the squeaking always comes back. I have the bushings compressed/torqued to what they should be (not over tightened) but I can't figure out what to do. Has anyone else had this issue? if so, what did you do to fix it? any suggestions are very welcome.
Thanks
