the dash he has for sale can be used on 70-71 and be correct, as it does not have the cut out for the seat belt light, I did not know about the time frame of being required to have the light. I was asking about the year 1972 because I thought they all had the seat belt light in the dash. Sorry for my confusion.

It could be used on a 70-71 but it’s not correct for those years.

I thought the 72 dashes had the seat belt warning light in the bezel.

The really nice ones are expensive, not so bad on the 70-71 but the 72 with the seat belt light is harder to find

I have a 1972 dash bezel, it is in near pristine condition, no scratches or dents and the writing is bright and white. All the tabs are in great shape and intact $250.00 Steve.

I am wondering if anyone has replaced just the plastic radio bezel with the cups rather than the whole dash carrier, the previous owner cut the radio opening and the cups out. Thanks, Steve

Does anyone know the size of the bolts that hold the shock protectors to the rear axle. are they thru bolted or a self tapper screw. Thanks in advance, Steve

Good afternoon you guys, I am hooking up the Factory A/C and heater on my 71 SS 454, my issue is there is only one vacuum hose coming thru the firewall which I believe goes to the vacuum ball, all the doors operate correctly when the vacuum hose is connected to engine vacuum, what I don't see is a vacuum hose for the heater control valve to stop the flow of coolant to the heater core. the vacuum diagram I see online shows 3 vacuum hoses coming from the bottom side of the HVAC controller, mine only has 2 vacuum hoses. Am I missing something? I would think there would be a vacuum hose going to the heater control valve from the HVAC control.

I just crawled under the car to look at the inside clearance, the previous owner put 3" exhaust all the way to the tailpipes so I have no room to go inward, so I will drop back to a 255/60/15

Is there a make or model that rim fits with the 5" BS
