  1. Thank you for responding It was like that when he first got it. He bought it from New York off Facebook marketplace without even going to look at it so there were a lot of surprises when we first got it. As for the fender bolt washer I’m not sure what’s been done there but I’m sure something has been done because the other day I was installing my parking brake cable and when I was trying to put it through the chassis of the car under the driver side door it would sit crooked so I unscrewed the supporting bar (at least I think that’s what it is) that connects from right under the hood to the chassis to try to get more room to mess with the cable. I’m not sure if doing that is what made that fender bolt look like that but once I did that the cable went in better but still sat crooked and the supporting bar had trouble going back on so long story short I’m not sure if something has already been done to try and combat that bend on that side or if it’s like that because of the bend. As for how it drives it still drives amazing I can full throttle it from a stop and it will go in a straight line and when I put the power down on corners she is still predictable will go where you want it to go but when I go over bumps it sounds like my driver side spring (the side with the bent chassis) is moving in there it’s not loud clanking it just sounds like it shifting in there I’ve checked it three times already to make sure it’s sitting right at the top but it always is
  2. Thank you for responding I agree I think it’s only cosmetic but I will definitely consider taking it to a body shop
  3. Sup guys I’m a new member here look forward to talking to you guy and learning some new thing. This is my 1970 Monte Carlo I’ve had it for a few years now got it off my dad. I have done a lot of upgrades to it since I got it such as suspension and engine work and soon to do the rear end gears but it has a bent chassis under the driver side door right behind the tire I’ve been putting it off for a while but decided to deal with it before I do the gears. Im hoping you guys can help me out is it possible to bend the chassis back and it still be reliable for more power or would it just be better to buy a used one off market place or something like that. Thanks when I first go it how it sits now driver side (you can’t really tell from the picture but it’s bent in) passenger side
