  1. Thank you for the info and the picture! This helps tremendously. Anyone know where I can find both sides for replacement? Also was there a piece of trim or anything that goes between the drip rail and the inner b-panel?
  2. Hey All, I’ve dug around and cannot figure out the name of this panel that has rot on it. Any thoughts on what it’s called or do I need to try and find a donor/custom made? Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks Joe! That is an excellent idea and thank you for providing that info! it doesn’t appear to be to bad with the extra work looking at differences since 510336 includes 510105. Length should be good to go except for the headlights, turn lights and backup lights. I’m going to look at it some more tonight to see if I’m overlooking anything but the 510337 that comes with 510336 would need to be created unless AAW would let me just buy 510337. I’ll reach out to them and see since that would simplify things for sure.
  4. Thanks Dennis, if the pictures are accurate between 205 and 336, it looks like 205 comes with the same headlight wiring as the 336. 336 includes a separate connector for putting the 72 headlights and turn lights next to each other from what it looks like. It looks like both 205 and 335 are setup for dual headlights even though the Monte never had that in those years. I thought the same about needing a little extra length for wiring here and there. I figured the front is where I’d have to add some length and maybe rear/sending unit. I would like to believe everything else would fit right in but maybe I’m just hoping for the best given the price and everything I need to do to mine!
  5. I found a deal on an AAW 510105 for a 69-72 chevelle. Anyone use 510105 instead of 510336?
  6. Anyone have a floor shift with tilt steering column you’d consider parting with?
  7. @420ponies Thank you! For sure, as things progress I’ll be posting pictures. It’s going to be slow going to start but, I’m planning on it being a restomod. It’s already had inner/outer quarters replaced and the floor pans. Trunk needs some more but I don’t think it will be a full replacement of course that may change once I start opening it up. Body was already removed and frame cleaned up/sealed but has been sitting outside for about 7-8 years. I’m not sure if it was a custom or not yet. The rear seat is still in it so I’m hopeful I’ll find a build sheet but that may be wishful thinking! No electric windows and column has been replaced so I’m not sure if it had buckets or bench since the floor doesn’t have the brackets or hole drilled for the cable. It will have buckets and the horseshoe shifter since I loved that setup in my 70. It was a 350 2 barrel car so I’m assuming they didn’t go with a custom but that’s speculation at this point.
  8. @Dtret Thank you! I’m still putting together a list of what all I’ll need to start. I’m sure I’ll be pinging you to see what you have lying around!
  9. Thank you for the welcome everyone! It is greatly appreciated! I’m excited to be apart of this group! I’ve only poked around the site a little bit but, I can tell there is a wealth of knowledge that is out there!
  10. Hello All, Second time owner. First was a 70 back in the late 1990’s and just recently picked up a 72 roller that’s is pretty well stripped but already has some new metal. She’s got a long way to go!
