Thanks I'll have to ask him in a few weeks the car is going to its first show under my ownership and the last owner is coming to see my progress and how the car looks from they day I bought it.

Well learned something new pretty sure he used it as a selling point but little did he know I was buying the car no questions asked.

Yeah its a flint built car previous owner thought he had it in his house still hoping he will find it soon.

New member here. Have been following since 2002 when I had first 70 monte (she was a bucket lol). Now I have my second 70 monte and could not wait to join this group. Excited to chat, ask questions, and share my knowledge. She is still a bit rough around the edges but runs and drives well. Bought with numbers matching 400 and 61k. Car still had original registration in the glove box as well as the protecto plate in glove box. Maybe someday I can make it to a meet.
