  1. Both are from Arizona. No rust or rot on either one.
  2. Hi Willie. Probably.
  3. Is there anyone on here that can look at a pickup in Mesa for me ?
  4. My 2 new toys. Retired 2 weeks ago.
  5. Thanks everybody. Just got her home Friday. I'm going to have a lot more time to devote to the hobby as I have decided to retire from working in the field as a mechanic and am starting with the state of NJ as an elevator inspector in the new year. Lots of changes recently. My mom passed suddenly in October and my son closed on his new house a week later. He's only 26 years old and I couldn't be more proud of him if he were twins. I look forward to seeing more of my Monte family in the springtime.
  6. The color is orange flame. Code 65 By the easy part I mean the reassembly. I delivered it completely stripped and have to put it back together.
  7. Now comes the easy part !!!!
  8. New Paint
  9. Yes , it’s factory code 65 , Orange Flame or Flame Orange. I’ve seen it listed either way.
  10. Good afternoon everybody. We’re the door hinge and trunk lid bolts painted from the factory ?
  11. Started out as an engine and trans swap. Cleaned up the engine bay and continued to the floor pans and wheel wells. After stripping the wheel wells I found sketchy repairs made by a previous owner. There were small pieces of metal not even riveted in and covered with bonding to hide rot in the usual areas. I replaced the portions of the inner and outer wheel houses and quarter panels that were bad. I am going with a cowl hood and the trunk lid was a couple of shades off it doesn’t make sense to blend into the fenders , quarter panels and deck lid. In for a penny, in for a pound like my dad used to say.
  12. I don’t see a price.
  13. That would be 59 years of crud !!!
  14. I scraped 1/2 of my drivers side rear wheel well and this is the pile of undercoating and dirt.
