Happy birthday my friend !!! Thanks also for posting pictures of the car show.

Very nice ride indeed ! As for the burn-out pits, I can fully understand not participating with your car, However at our motorcycle rallies, I always look forward to watching the burn-outs, The participants have already planned to install a new tire, here they are able to get every pennies worth of excitement and enjoyment out of their old worn-out tire and entertain the masses while blowing it out. After which a new tire is installed while you are enjoying a nice adult beverage , And of course watching the body painted nude waitresses serving you. Life is good 💯

Anybody want a SnapOn toolbox ?
Michael Boyte replied to DragCat's topic in Cars and Parts For Sale Leads
I most likely have a few pieces of nearly every brand of tools out there. However, in my opinion, Snap-on followed by Mac tools would be the preferred manufacturer for us. As someone stated earlier, fewer busted knuckles with the better brands. -
What did you do to your Monte Carlo today?
Michael Boyte replied to Canuck's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
That looks great Matt ! Fantastic stance and an eye popping color as well ! I love the wider tires. What size tire did you choose to go with ? Also is there any rubbing issues ? What about if the air shocks should leak down ? -

I always kept a set of Derby caps, a set of flats and a set of the spinners (3 spoke) . I would change them out about every 3 or 4 months, each set gave the wheels a different look ! The spinners were my favorite. At one point, we had to put pieces of razor blades between the wheel and the center, just to keep people from stealing them . However, we never had that problem with the Derby caps.

70 402 4-speed on Bring a Trailer
Michael Boyte replied to TheBMan's topic in Cars and Parts For Sale Leads
Was the 10 bolt standard for the 402 /4 speed ? I would have thought being a High performance Big block and a 4 speed, that would have commanded the beefer 12 bolt posi as standard for that setup. -
Why would you even consider a 10 bolt as opposed to the 12 bolt , If you are going through all the work to install a complete rear-end ? That would definitely be one decision that I would always regret. There's probably more 10 bolts available and I am sure there's a reason for that.

Several items need to be addressed, for one, why would you keep the engine covers from a totally different type vehicle ? If it's not a Corvette to begin with, there's nothing that will turn it into one. However, I do love the LS engine's and like the conversions . Overall , it's definitely a nice ride -
Not a bad looking car, definitely sitting a bit too high. Not that far from a 4x4 stance 😂 . I personally would lower it front and back.

The Run to the Sun car show is the kick off for the Myrtle Beach area car shows. The spring show always brings a crowd. And a lot of beautiful rides. We normally go on Friday and Saturday, after about 4 or 5 hours of walking, I have to take a break and return the next day for round 2 😂 We also are having the Saint Patrick's day parade in North Myrtle today which draws a really large crowd . Between the two, the traffic can be challenging at times. Thankfully we have had beautiful weather. This is also spring break for a lot of the college's and the sun bathers are packing the strand. Thank God for the BIKINI weather !! No more overcoats 😂 !!

Rather subtle there Rob, Nice 👍

Interesting 🤔, I don't think it would be much fun driving, the pictures show that 2 vehicles are hanging out past the rear axles. Without distributing the weight probably, I think it would be a nightmare to handle. I would recommend a hauler with full living quarters, bathroom, kitchen, comfortable sleeping arrangements. Otherwise try getting a good night's sleep in a tractor sleeper. I've owned some road tractors with some really nice stand-up walk through sleepers and they are cramped, especially with 2 people. Ideally a motor home and a stacker trailer would be everything you would ever want.

Andreas car was rather unusual, everything was blacked out, very well could be his grille. However I don't think a billet grille would fit his attire. -
My grandfather was in a local nursing home and our preacher had promised us that he was going by to visit him this past week, He did so Saturday afternoon, he said that he was running late and passed by the nursing home and remembered that he had promised to visit this week, he turned around and went back to visit my grandfather, the preacher said that he was really hungry having not eaten lunch and he noticed a bowl of nuts sitting on the table beside of my grandfather , he started eating a few and before he left, he had finished them off. Our preacher then noticed what he had done and proceeded to apologize, my grandfather assured him that it was fine after all he had already sucked the candy off of those !!

Both had Red Monte's. I looked up Mike Roy on YouTube the video stated he had 2000 HP but didn't see anything recent.
