Finally got the Monte up and running after thinking I was having timing adjustment issues replaced the ignition coil relay mod and presto purring like a lion. Felt good to finally get her out the garage it was the first drive this year... -

Is there a plate that needs to be remove

I can't see how to get at the lock fastners under the trunk lid. I only see one Philip screw hold a small some triangular metal piece however I think that's to hold the lock assembly in place.

How do you replaced the trunk lock bezel on the 71/72 as this does not look like a simple task...
