Thanks for the pictures Mike, it looks great. I like the tapered ring compressor, it makes sense that it would be the best way to install the pistons. The hood looks fantastic too.

That's really NICE Mike, which block are you using 509 or 511? What's the bore? That's on my wish list, building a sbc400.....

That is sweet! From the pix, it looks like you are doing a little more than lining up the dots on the sprockets!

It is a gen 6 bowtie block. Bore is 4.56 stroke is 4.25, 555 CID. Jesel belt drive. Cam timing is exact!

That's an awesome motor, Mike! Sorry for my mis-ID in the earlier post. I read 'short block' but my brain said 'small block'.........
