Do you have to install the piece of chrome on the bottom of frt fender before you put fender on.And to make sure it lines up with door you have to slip it a little and try to tighten it.Is that the way you do it.Thanks

you should at least install the clips first

 

it can be done (I've done it on both of mine) but boy is it a %$#@& and the inner fender must be out
