Thanks, Matt Now to decide shocks or air bags..shocks seem like the cheeper choice and seem to work good as stated on the interweb.. 2 Quote

Total cost 116.00. lol. She owes me. This is how I get away with all the crap that I do with the Monte’s. 😝 And today is her birthday so this is what she gets ( and she very happy with it). 4 4 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted July 4 Posted July 4 I installed a new set of Monroe Max Air rear shocks on my Monte. Next to be installed are the CC507 rear coil springs and new coil spring isolators. That will give me more rear lift without putting so much air in the rear shocks to provide a softer ride. 3 Quote

72 Monte Carlo Posted July 6 Posted July 6 I got new chrome bolts for mounting the grille, and plastic grommet nuts for the side marker lenses. My brother and I installed two more seat rail brackets for the front bucket seats, so that they would sit level. The front of the headliner is in with the sun visors and windlace installed, and I just installed the rear view mirror. Disregard the dust on the headliner though. I had it laying on the roof of the Monte for a month so it would relax some before installing it. I will be wiping it down after it's all installed. We're finishing up the sides of the headliner tomorrow. 3 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted July 6 Posted July 6 What are these two electrical plugs for? The 4 wire front plug has a green/white, 2 black/white, and 1 blue wire. The 2nd plug is 2 wires with a green and a black wire. Also, on the passenger side floor under the sound deadener there is a blue and black wire heading towards the trunk. What are those two wires for? Thanks, Doug It's only been 8 years since I brought the Monte home, so I don't remember where those wires went to. Quote
GRAY 70 Monte Carlo Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Don’t know for sure but didn’t the 71s or 72s have seat belt warning light. Mine is a 70 and don’t remember it having that or seat belt light on dash. Just a thought 1 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted July 6 Posted July 6 My 72 doesn't have the seat belt warning light on the dash. 1 Quote
