Aftermarket fuel sender

Anyone had to get aftermarket fuel sending unit? If so how did it work?

There was a thread where this issue was discussed.  There was a problem with the after market fuel senders giving an accurate reading as I remember.  The float arm needed some adjusting and tweaking to get it right.  I think it interfered with the gas filler tube inside the tank.

I am sure someone who experienced this will chime in and be more specific.

Found an AC Delco sending unit should work with no issues.
