Guest Posted October 24, 2002 Posted October 24, 2002 Anyone know where I can get those little freakin fuses for the dashlights for my 70??? Ive been to 4 or 5 places and no one has em. TIA
wallaby Posted October 24, 2002 Posted October 24, 2002 Well, in the olden days they had those at the gas station. I remember them in that yellow display with all the little drawers... I had to replace one of the long ones the other night, and it was hard to find glass fuses. The ATO type were common. Around here, NAPA auto parts has hard-to-find stuff. They don't use a computer even! They have a real catalog with pictures, and circles and arrows pointing to each one and a paragraph on the back...
Rob Peters Posted October 24, 2002 Posted October 24, 2002 If they are the small glass tube fuses, you could try Radio Shack or some electronics supply shops. You may even try some of the real old auto Parts stores rather than some of the newer national chains. Rob ------------------ Go Car or Show Car, it doesn't matter, you are welcome here

Guest Posted October 26, 2002 Posted October 26, 2002 I'd agree Napa would probably have them. I had the same problem awhile back. I finally found some at a large truck stop. Everyone else did'nt have them, advanced, orielly's,autozone ect. Jon.
Guest Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Ok, now I cant find my blown fuse, so couls someone please help me out and tell me what size that fuse is?? It should have a number on it or something... Thanks
Guest Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 The number should be at either end of the fuse telling you the amperage. Which instrument is the fuse for? You can buy a cheap test light to determine which fuse is bad. Guest Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 Does it look like the little one on page two of this pdf file? you may want to look at page seven as well http://www.bussmann.com/library/docs/BUSS_Auto-Fuse.pdf http://www.bussmann.com/index2.asp [This message has been edited by ADGTRUNKLID (edited 11-12-2002).]
