heat shield on exh. manifold

i removed the heads on my 70 454 today to have them freshed up. my problem is the heat shield on the right exh.manifold is falling of the manifold . does anyone repop the shield ,and how is ot held onto the manifold .gene

My 71 manifolds had a small shallow drilled hole in them with a domed head small steel rivet tapped into manifold, Hope this is correct.

I think those used a funky rivet that had a kind of twisted spline on the shaft to hold it in. Mine did the same thing and I never did anything about it. I thought about using a small machine screw but the hole is too shallow to tap.
