I'm sure if anyone recognized the object in your photo as being associated with a '70 Monte Carlo they would have replied. It's fairly common knowledge that the original axle ratio code is stamped on the front side of the passenger end of the axle housing. I've replaced the rear wheel bearings on my '70 12 bolt, 3.31 positraction rear end and not see anything like what you showed in your photo. Maybe you could be more specific? 1 Quote
