Speedometer Cable Length

Can anyone tell me the length of the speedometer for a 71 MC with a 350 engine and a 400 transmission? Also the GM number would help.

The parts catalog that I have shows 6478175 as the GM part number and 60" long. Without Cruise control.

Carl, the Cable for a 3 speed with heavy duty or 4 speed is PN# 6478178, 72" long. The cable for a 3 speed (exe HD) is the same PN# 6478175, 60" long. These are the listings in the parts catalog for a Chevelle. I don't think a 3 speed was put in a Monte. I hope that helps

There is an original owner 70 Monte in Danville IN that is a factory 3 on the tree with bucket seats and no console. Black with white vinyl top black interior.

Thanks Paul. You put me on the right course. I found 6478175 @ 61" over at Rock Auto. Their part number is ATPY814 and its at $7.65. That GM number is listed.
