A body frames

Do any other 68 to 72 frames work with monte carlo bodies. Thanks

Chevelle, cutlass, skylark, and the sub models are too short. El Camino doesn’t work either. I have heard that the 69-72 Grand Prix chassis do. I don’t know for sure but I’m sure someone will.

Nope. The Monte Carlo has a wheelbase of 116 inches, the Grand Prix is 118 inches.

I Believe the Malibu 4 Door and Chevelle wagons will work.

Four door sedans and station wagons got their longer frames by stretching behind the fire wall. The Monet Carlo and Grand Prix were stretched in front of the fire wall.

 

Behind the firewall, these cars were the same as all the other two door A-body cars. Forward is where they got their stretch. This is why some Chevelle headers don't fit on one side.
