Took the grandkids to the Pittsburgh World of Wheels today and walked their legs off checking out all of the cars. Unfortunately there were NO First Gen Monte's there. As a matter of fact the only Monte there was only one one Monte of any year there and it was in primer and due to so many parts missing from it I could not tell what year it was.

There were a lot of Nova's and Chevelle's there but the absence of Monte's was very noticeable.

Very cool Rob thanks for sharing.  When it comes to 1st Gen Monte Carlos they are far and few between at car shows, to bad.  Their loss...

Yep I showed my Monte for several years in early 90s  First in the Daryl Starbird show in the Mid west then the ISCA shows in the mid west.  Done well in the top 20 overall running as Late conservative hardtop.  Never had a competing Monte but lots of Camaros.  Later RJD
