Yes, On the top drivers side of the fan shroud you will notice a flat area with a hole in it.  There was a strap, like a plastic zip tie, with an expandable bulb that slipped into that hole and that strap circled the hose and on the other end of the strap was an end that would slip into a hole in the bulb and when that end was inserted into the bulb it expanded the bulb in the hole and held it into place.

Open the below link and look at the picute.  It would look like this but the strap would be connected to both pieces.

Just to add, A number of years ago one of our members came across a bunch of these and bought them all and supplied many of our members with replacements for their cars but I think he sold out of them a long time ago.

On my 71 I have this type.

I "think" I remember purchasing it from our member (can't remember her name) who, sadly, had a 71 SS that burned up in her garage several years ago in Ohio.

That would be Capri who lost her 71SS in that Garage/House fire.

A member had a number of these straps at the Western Meet last year and handed them out.

Aaron, do you remember who that was. I would like to find out where to get them.

I bought 3 of them but for the life of me can't remember from who (They are a member).  But here is a pic with dimensions that may aid in finding something that may work in place of.

i went to grainger and found these . a steel clamp with a rubber wrap around. the part # is 1bae3. you have to buy a  10 pack. they fit loose so when the hose expands it will be snug. i hope to find the correct one someday.
