I talked on the phone with one of our members tonight. He has a beautiful '70 SS454 and he sent me these pics. He restored the car and is needing a few small parts, yet. It was great talking to you again, Joseph.

Joseph it looks great! It was great meeting you the last couple years at local car shows and all your compliments on my car! Can't wait to see that beauty in person soon!

Looks great, but I'm partial to the color combo.

I also noticed the fiber optics. Do they work? My '70 Chevelle has fiber and when I had it repainted in 1983, the painter thought they were just electrical wires and cut one when attempting to remove the fender indicator. That one light still doesn't work. I've worked with several fiber optic splicers on jobs I've managed and none can splice the old fiber.  Apparently it's different than the new stuff.

 

Rock, the license plate is a Wisconsin (Cheese Country) collector plate.

yes all the fibre optics work.   i think it was a 1970 option only.
