This time, 7 years ago I was laying in a coma in a hospital bed following an outpatient procedure gone terribly bad.  Below is a picture of me a few days after I came out of the coma.  

Even 7 years later, during this time of year, I go into a sort of funk when I remember back to this time.  In the 9 or 10 days I laid there in that coma, Patsy sat there by me night and day.  She was didn't want to leave me alone because I had almost died twice due to complications.  

I was in the hospital 4 weeks and off work over 3 months

Here is a picture of me with soft the many tubes coming out different parts of my body.

Wow, glad you pulled through it! Amazing how life can change in an instant. At least for you it changed for the good again, after the very bad (and very long road).
