Pillar removal

I’m sure I’m being a weeny..

but i removed the two screws holding the pillars along side front window.

how do I remove the pillar to paint them?

Quick, short reply..... Yank! Pull! Tug!!!  Pry!!!  Sorry, had to. Make sure the upper trim over the side window is removed from the upper part of the a-pillar trim. The a-pillar trim is probably just stuck after all the years installed.

thats exactly the issue..

its stuck..I don’t want to damage the trim lifting it off the pillar 

ill be bolder
