I'm sure it's been discussed but I was unable to locate a thread:  Is there anyone that reproduces the door jam vin decal with the vin, (if it is legal)?   I have found blanks that would allow for the vin to be typed in but don't know where I would locate a type writer nor if the font would match.

Thanks

I used ECS automotive. Looks near perfect. I sent a picture of my existing one as well. Call them up, very helpful. I think I spoke with a guy named Dave, he is a car guy too. Below links are both the same place.

Look on eBay under 1970 Chevelle nos, 1970 Monte Carlo nos, 1971 Monte Carlo nos, and 1972 Monte Carlo nos for just a few.

They also have an Ebay store as well Tom, same prices if I remember.

Here's the old one. Black tape was just there to keep the laminate flat so I could take some measurements. It'll go directly below the door latch on the flat pad on the door.
