Chicago Area Car Show

I plan on attending this show on 12 August. I have never been to it as a spectator but friends have and they say it is an awesome time. Proceeds benefit various veterans groups.

I’ll probably take a ride there next week when I start vacation to reserve my spot and see what kind of numbers have registered so far. I’ll get more info and update here accordingly.

I have that Thursday and Friday off, I'll have to see.

Still haven’t reserved my spot (was waiting to see if my girl was gonna be out of the shop in time). Will take a ride to the village hall sometime this coming week to see what’s what. I’ll update accordingly. Worst case scenario, I’ll roll through the show with mama for beers and to look at cars even if I don’t show my car.

Registered for this show today, lady at the village hall said “tons of people have registered”.  I got one of the last remaining spots in one of the three (four?) lots registrants will be showing their cars in. Unless things go sideways for any particular reason, my Monte will see her first show as mine.
