1970mcss Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 So glad that never happened. But I think I saw a Monte Camino somewhere Quote
Rob Peters Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Yeah, that is not the first time a picture of that has been posted. The first time I saw the picture I think I threw up a little bit in my mouth. Like others have said, I am so glad they did not make that or a Monte Station Wagon. rob Quote
Canuck Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 We have those photos as well as other prototype Monte Carlo photos on our web site in the resources section. https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/resources/resourcespage/ Quote
sbarnette Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Amazing that two extra doors change it from gorgeous to ugly. Quote

willie Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Not liking the 4 doors at all. It takes all the (in my opinion) Classy Sport out of the car!!!! However like Tony i might be open to a 2 door wagon, that would be cool, i think!! Quote

In reality the prices of El Camino are very reasonable and converting one with a Monte front end seems like it could be a fairly easy conversion. Thomas, I think you would be a good person to do the conversion. rob 1 Quote
