Dennis, in reality I think you are mostly hearing the hard rain beating on the rubberized top material.

Man, that blows. Hopefully it cleared up so you guys had at least a partial night to enjoy the cars.

There were areas in the parking lot where the water was close to a foot deep.  Due to how high the Model A sits I was able to drive right through with no issues but some other vehicles couldn't even think about going through.
