I'm planning on changing my sail panels on my 70, question is how difficult is it to do? any tips or tricks that i need to know? Thanks

The job should be relatively easy but I think the hardest thing may be matching the material on the sail panels to the headliner

When I got my sail panel boards they had a one inch square piece of double sided tape on each panel. You may want put something a little bigger on there. Velcro would work to keep the center of the panel from warping out.

For us , the worse thing about the sail panels would have to be the piece of crap cardboard.

Even our new replacements had to be replaced . The fabric would not adhere without showing separation or warping after a short time . We substituted a sheet of pvc for the cardboard and that has provided years of show quality.
