Has anybody tried to install 4 inch speakers in the kick panels. If you have let me know if they will fit.

There's not a lot of room behind the kick panels, so your best bet is to find a good slim mount speaker with a "directional" cover, or there is a molded kick panel that goes over the originals. Not sure who makes them, but they look like the easiest way with the least amount of cutting.

Yes I found that out there is a small cut out in the body but it looks too small for the magnet to go through.

Retro manufacturing and Muscle Cars and Classics both carry something that should work for you.

You can buy replacement kick panels that have speakers. I did & painted them to match 

I think I got mine at OPGI

I knew those were sold by OPGI . My car does not have air-conditioning and I do not want to give up the kick panel vents.
