Bead blasted and repainted the back, cleaned up the guages, cleaned and repaired the clock, polished the sratches on the plastic lens. Waiting for a volt gauge to replace the amp guage and a new tach ( old one was sticking).

Did not know shiftworks has the conversion kit. Hmmm...

yes, got it from Shiftworks, just arrived, shipping to Canada was ugly, $28.00 plus $16.00 brokerage and handling. here is a picture of the box. Smaller packaging might have helped.

Good, I'm glad to see they finally got those in production again.

There was a time a couple of years ago when I was looking for one, I spoke to the owner of Shiftworks and he said they couldn't get them manufactured anymore and was having trouble finding another good supplier. I ended up getting the Dakota Digital RTX instead at the time, partly due to the voltmeter, but I would have needed to get an electronic conversion for the speedo anyways, raising the cost as well. At that point I decided to go with the D/D.

I  sent Shiftworks a picture of the packaging and they said they need it that large to be able to place all the shipping documents. I still think you could source stick on evelopes smaller than 5x11 but maybe that is the size customs wants.

They have learned from experience. A part that small gets lost. Put it in a bigger box. At least they didn’t do the box in a box in a box in a box trick. Lol.
