Senior moment.

Do you pull or push the adjustment rod to adjust the clock on a 70?

I have the clock apart for cleaning and attempted repair of contact point and adjustment rod.

I have a spring, gear, rod, and a pocket where I think the spring should go which would necessitate pulling the rod to adjust clock. Just want to be sure before I press gear on the rod.

I set the clock in the ‘71 when I took the first drive last week. Was nervous as all hell pulling that pin… was waiting for it to separate from the clock with how it felt, but all is well.

My 71 had been sitting in storage for about 5 years until I pulled it out recently. Once I put a battery in it and got it running, I was surprised to see the clock was working. Went to set it and the pin came right out in my hand! Oh well!

Yea mines real finicky, sometime I pull, spin, and nothing happens. I'm just waiting for one day it to just pull all the way out like Sammy's

I used Gorilla Epoxy to set the gear on the rod.

Fingers crossed.

Tried to polish the lens, cleaned it up (glossy) but still has a fog to it.
