2-year Accidental Damage Protection

im thinking of get a 2 year damage protection for my school laptop. what do you computer guys think right now it only has a one year deal on it.

Is it a Dell? We get the 3 year coverage for ours and it covers everything, including if you drop it off the back of a car...

its a hp that i had them build my options are 1 year, 2 year, and 3 year. all three plans do the same and covers the same problems im just looking at the funds.

Hmm interesting Allan, we use the coverage all the time here in FL, but we are owned by GE and fall under their agreements so it might be special for us

i really didn't think of a plan for this laptop my home laptop has a 5 year plan which came in handy when it locked up.

i don't misuse it unless you count throwing it across the room no im only kidding. i don't drop my laptops although they do get on my nevers when one wants to act up or a program don't want to run.

for backup.. get an external usb harddrive that's as big as the laptop's.. then just image the drive over using backup imaging software like 'ghost' ... nice neat & easy.
