Hello,I have two Monte Carlos.A 1970 which my Aunt Renee got me for my high school graduation gift 25 years ago.A 1971 as well.Out of the Monte Carlos,I have the love of the 1970 to 1972 Monte Carlos.The 1970 is all original.My 1971,I bought it with no drivetrain 3 years ago.Has an LS in it,a 6.2 and does go.Story with the 1970 is my Aunt Renee knew I liked the 1970 to 1972 Monte Carlos when I was 14.Knew one day I wanted one

My aunt Renee has been good me including my younger brother through the years.She has raised us since I was 13.Rescued us,bio parents were drug and alcohol addicts.I still remember the day I got the 1970 Monte Carlo.

Bio parents also neglected us with bad living conditions.Aunt Renee hooked up us with good people that changed our life around too.

Welcome Heather. Rough start to an awesome story. Well done to your aunt and to you guys for accepting the chance to have a better life. Post up some pictures of the cars please. We all love the cars and the stories that make them real. Thanks

I do have a 3rd one,bought it in June out of Mississippi rust free.A 1972 all original.A friend of mine seen it and asked the owner if it was for sale.The guy said yes,this friend of mine called me if I wanted it Called me,said yes going down there.I have carburator work to do to it

Welcome Heather!!!  First sorry about your story but Thank God for your Aunt Renee!!! I tip my hat to her!!!  

Second, looks like you have the Hatrick, all three years. Great for you!!!

Been raised in Michigan, have some family there ( suburbs around Detroit), .Glad to see that you enjoy working and driving these 1st Gens. Sounds like you have a good selection of these. Hope you become a member here and can show us some pictures of those Monte's. We have plenty of Michigan members, Leo Konink is a favorite here since he has alot of parts and is located close to Port Huron.
