FrankOC Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 Looks like a nice survivor. https://www.hemmings.com/listing/1971-chevrolet-monte-carlo-768793?utm_medium=email&utm_source=mus_weekly&utm_campaign= Quote
MC1of80 Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 For 62k I would want more of a showish car. Car is filthy, not many options but is a SS. Different color combo. In the questions section someone asked if he had a build sheet to authenticate it as an SS and the owner answered it shows in the vin. Which we know it does NOT. 2 Quote
DragCat Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Yea a little pricey for me on a survivor. I wonder if the load leveler works? I didn't scrutinize the photos but what's up with the red wire to the alternator? I know probably a ground but really ? Quote
Gregs70 Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 I think that car was on Ebay a couple of years ago, I could be wrong, and i believe it was like $25K Quote

bob 71 Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 nice car. but for that price it should be a lot nicer 1 Quote
TheBMan Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 I agree with everyone on the price - too high for the condition and color combo. 1 Quote
RON T Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 I wouldn’t give it $$$.. lots of more money would have to be put in it afterwards.. unless you wanted a driver... for a driver it’s way overpriced.. btw.. no gauge package on an SS ? Is that strange ? ... 1 Quote
MC1of80 Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 Gauges were an option. Not standard. Open differential, standard. Posi , optional. Etc. The SS package, RPO Z20, gave the SS badging, F41 suspension, LS5 454, th400, dual exhaust with tips, level ride and a few other things standard. Bench seat, column shift, manual windows and locks all standard. Everything else could be "optioned" on. 5 Quote
FrankOC Posted December 29, 2022 Author Posted December 29, 2022 Looks like he sold it for $39,375. Quote
DragCat Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Well I'll assume both seller and dealer are both happy. The prices on our Montes isn't dropping from what I can see Quote
