Group, a little OFF topic, but the question came to mind while perusing the various lots at Mecum/Kissimmee auction brought up by this thread. I'm very familiar with the Motion/Yenko/Nickey type cars - just had never heard of this, and what I believe to be the accompanying lever on the trans hump.

Looks to be some sort of shift kit mod for the Turbo 400's. Googled it and it was also showing up on Camaros, etc.

This thread for a B.M. Corvette mentions what may pertain to the lever on the tunnel. Looks to be for a Gear Vendor type of overdrive possibly?

Anyone else sitting on their duff today watching the auction on TV like me?  The Mrs is ready to strangle me with the auctioneer blaring in the background all day LOL.

Always tough to say without seeing it up close, but this one from this morning seems like it was well bought.

I havent been watching, and like you said, hard to say without eyes on it. But for a TRUE SS not bad for the buyer I would say
