Car show yesterday, Aberdeen, Ohio

Woke up the 71 and drifted up to Ohio yesterday for a good little car show. Nice turn out. Even got a couple pictures of  potential members hovering around my 71 and a great shot of the inside of my trunk lid. 
Came in Top 20 in 1943-1996 class. Lot of competition!. To say the least. The last picture is of a Chevy nomad in excellent condition which took best of show. And we’ll deserved.

She really looks great Ron, Congrats on the trophy... Just a note, that after market emergency brake will be counted as an alteration at our eastern meet next year.

Congratulations Glen very nice. What are you supposed to remove all the stuff from the trunk? Don't look in my trunk there's always a cooler and a bunch of stuff in there but then again my car isn't on the same class as your beautiful car.

Oh Well. I can leave it at home . It’s just for looks anyways down here. Or.  Maybe I should register in a class modified plus ! 😄

Yes Steve, I had to remove all my cleaning equipment from the trunk. Get extra points for fire extinguisher. First aid kit, points & plug gauge, pictures, ect. Only the second show I’ve been to in 8 years that the judges have looked underneath the car.. anyway, it was a fun day, but not near the FUN you guys are gonna have at the eastern mini meet this week. Rain or Shine ! It’s always good to get together with Monte family!!!. Enjoy and drive safe. Pictures palease !… Ron….
