HI people, Im looking for the rubber pieces that hold the vertical chrome pieces on the rear quater windows.  I tried a couple local glass companys and no success.

Any help would be great!!

Thanks!!

The factory used glass setting tape. It comes in different thicknesses for different vehicles and it doesn't have any adhesive on it. It's rubber and you can use liquid soap to lubricate the glass for installation. Some will tell you to use urethane or silicone. That's fine if you don't care if it lines up right or looks factory. The tape will automatically center the glass in the channel, but the others won't.

On my 72 I just used some old bicycle tubes cut into strips and then trimmed of the excess. Been on the car ten years with no problems
