They fit perfectly.  They do have to be trimmed.

Do the carpet trimming after seats are in, not sure if you knew that. Go ahead ask me how I learned that 😅 yup the hard way.

Got my door panels at Legendary. Fit perfect. As did the headliner from them. Wasn’t cheap, but it looks great

When I redid ole red’s interior several years ago I used Legendary for my interior Upoholstry and The Parts Place for all of the hardware.  Went with the bolstered front seat Upoholstry and am I ever glad I did. Not quite original but I don’t care. So many things had been changed before I got the car it was cheaper to just go with the flow and make it my car not what someone else thought it should be

Interior is something you have to plan ahead.

Nothing is usually in stock.

The door panels are original. I bought the lower carpet pieces from the Parts Place

How do you remove and reinstall the new carpet sections? The more details, the better.

I took off the door panels off, removed the moldings and the removed the carpet. The carpet had small staples holding it on plus trim adhesive that had lost its adhesion. I then cut the new carpets to fit, sprayed new 3m adhesive and let it dry. I repainted the black part of the moldings and then re-attached them. The molding covers the cut edge of the carpets. I hope that helps.

Remove seats front and rear, remove cill plates then remove the old carpets. Do whatever prep needed on floors install new carpets the way the old ones came out. It doesn't hurt to lay them out flat for a while first possibly in the sun. Cut holes for seats and reinstall seats. Don't put cill plates on until your sure it's in correctly trim as needed reinstall cill plates. Be careful when you cut holes for seats you got one shot to get it right if you miss it'll show. Ask me how I know 😆 it's now an awful job but a bit time consuming to do properly.

Thanks. I'll reference this post when I decide to get new door panel carpets. The floor carpet tips are helpful too, but carpet is in excellent shape.
