GideonBowles Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Hello one and all, I recently pulled my windshield out of my 71 Monte after having had a leak for a really long time. After doing so I discovered that the top portion of windshield support. Outside where the roof seams to another piece of metal, is basically completely rusted out and destroyed. Does anybody know what the best way to go about fixing this is? And does anybody know if they sell strips that can go there? Quote

Rancid87 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 A picture of the rotted area would be helpful. I've made my own windshield channel for a few cars using a brake and a shrinker/stretcher. Quote

Mrp Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 A pillars are cheap and relatively easy to install, if you have a welder. I think the last ones I got were 78 a side. 1 Quote
