1970 Sport Steering Wheel Green?

Hello, 

Followed this board for years,  but haven't posted b4.  I have a 1970 with Green Mist exterior,  and Green interior.   If a Comfort Grip sport steering wheel option wad ordered, would it have a green cusion rim or a black rim?  I've seen blue and red cusion rims , but never a green one.  Thanks,  in advance,  for any responses.

The 70 optional wheel was the 3 spoke. If you mean the standard wheel, then yes the wheel and center were green.

The 3 spoke wheel would have had a black rim regardless of the interior colour.

The blue, red, etc were available on other GM cars in the late 60s to early 70s which is why there are some out there. I actually have a gold/tan one in my 70 which was originally from a Buick GS. Same wheel as what came in the monte except it has a gold/tan rim.

My 70 has the black rim, don't think I'd change it even if they did make a green one. As ya'll know I'm all about originality/stock 🤣

Had mine leather wrapped and stitched to match the body color for my 72

I have a green one that was dyed the correct 70 green color in 2015. It held up until I recently removed it. It's a reproduction  I'd sell it

Found some steering wheel leather wrap on Amazon. I wrapped mine 25 years ago and it needs replacement. It's a lot of work but worth it.
