transmission linkage spring replacement

hi ,i have a column shift turbo 400, and does anyone know the part number for the spring that goes on the linkage rod that connects to the transmission, mine is original and it squeaks ,tried to lubricate but still rattles ,thanks

Do you mean the spring, washer and nylon cup that is on the back drive by the frame? 

If so, that is available from the aftermarket. I know inline tube and the parts place have the kits. I'm sure Ausleys and Ground up do also.

hi, yes it is on the frame and original to my car and the spring seems worn out and squeking do you happen to know what these parts are called thanks roger

great thanks i will order this kit ,also the reveiws say that one person used his old spring

I’ll bet the nylon cup is gone. The shaft is probably rattling in the shaft to frame bracket.

yes ,i am sure that noise has been there for a while after moving the linkage while the car is running the rattle went away ,thanks to all who have responded ,roger
