I see people always asking where the numbers are at, was playing with the new camera and snapped this one, and you can see where the numbers are at on the tube (outlined in blue)

Thanks Sam. Sometimes they show pictures, but it's always hard to get a reference as to exactly where it is on the axle tube. And when they're got 40 years of road grime, they can get a little harder to see.

hey bones did u box the rear control arms yourself? and if u did, did they help?

yes I boxed them with the kit you can get for it, it hasn't been driven yet, I am adding a factory sway bar too

it's a numbers matching, engine, trans, axle, bench seat 4 speed, I don't dare mess with this one

What do those particular numbers tell you? Did they stamp the gear ratio and diff in that code?
