For those that might need another color. SEM paint company has a vinyl flexible spray that will change it to whatever color you need. Did that with a headrest. Looks great.

It looks like a saddle to me in the photo.  Do you know what year it came from?

I got a mixed feeling about painting a dash as I’ve read mixed reviews so I’m trying to get dark saddle one without painting.

The one that I put in my car was green I cleaned it up good and used the SEM black and it's fine. That was a few years ago and no problems at all.

Use SEM dye 

Clean first with decreaser, scuffing doesn't hurt either. 

Then Bulldog Adhesion promoter then the SEM dye

So this decreaser of which you speak?  Can I assume it eliminates blemishes such as the one pictured below?…

Nope but does get all contaminants off so the new color will stay on

Sun will usually draw out dents like that if it's not to dried out.

Any degreaser. Purple power. Dollar store Awesome.  Etc
