Front grill emblem

I know the difference between the 70 - 72 grill emblems. But would one from 72 with the lines bolt on my 71. I happen to have found one for a a very good price

Yea it'll fit. My 71 had a 72 emblem on it when I got it

I had a '71 emblem on my '70.... Switched it to a '70. There's lots of adjustment room on the grill.

The grill emblems are pretty much interchangeable.  I would bet very few people would notice that you don't have the proper one on your car.  Besides, it is your car and you can do as you wish as long as you don't put a Chevelle SS in the grill..... Just kidding, go for whatever you want to do, make it your own.
